Yoga Etiquette

PLEASE TURN OFF CELL PHONES: To hear a phone ring while in rest is very unsettling. Please turn off cell phones and leave in front cubbie or lockers.

MAKE SPACE FOR YOUR NEIGHBOR: We get crowded and moving over for your fellow yogi is more than a kind thing to do; create space for one another please. If you see yogis walking in, treat them as your friend. Move over for them.

NO GUM CHEWING WHILE IN CLASS; reason- you could choke, or spit it out on the floor, or both.

PLEASE LEAVE SHOES OUTSIDE YOGA ROOM. Please do not walk in the yoga room with shoes on. Carry them through if you need them.

PLEASE LEAVE YOUR BELONGINGS OUTSIDE THE YOGA ROOM. We have lockers and cubbies for your stuff. Anything breakable such as glasses, cell phone, or the like could get stepped on. For your protection and the teachers safety. Please keep stuff outside.

DURING CLASS: No talking or carrying on a conversation with your neighbor. Just like being at the movies: "Silence is Golden".

ENTER AND EXIT ONLY THROUGH FRONT DOOR.

TAKE YOUR BELONGINGS HOME WITH YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE.

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM WRINGING YOUR SWEAT on the floor in the yoga room. Take it outside after class. If you do sweat a lot, bring 2 towels and change out when needed.
